Anesthesia
Local anesthetic - an injection used to eliminate sensation in one area of the mouth.
Nitrous Oxide - a sedative gas that is inhaled by the patient. Patients experience a dizzy feeling then feel happy and elated. Nitrous Oxide works quickly and leaves the system just as quickly. There is a separate charge for Nitrous each time it is used, and is usually not covered by insurance.
Conscious Sedation - In extreme cases of anxiety we can offer the use of prescription medications taken before an office visit. You will need to inquire with the dentist to find out if this method is an option for you. There is a separate charge for this type of medication and is not usually covered by dental insurance.
